I can help your child with specific areas of growth while also teaching her or him good work ethics. To help children become independent and motivated learners, I involve them in setting goals and planning the steps, I ask their opinions about the time we spent on different activities or the order of work, and I include ongoing self-evaluation.

There is a lot of value in learning for pleasure, without tests and expectations. It is important to encourage children to explore their personal interests et develop their curiosity and self-confidence.

French classes for students of all ages

Beginner level: Lessons are planned around daily oral communication, such as asking for the time or giving directions. The beginner course covers basic vocabulary and verbs in the present tense that are needed for everyday communication. Students get to practice, in real time, skills that promote communication despite limited knowledge of the language. A fair amount of time is spent on pronunciation and its relation to written French, to help students develop a good accent from the beginning and practice their reading and writing skills as well..

Intermediate level: Lessons are personalized, based on student's goals and current level in oral and written French. The study plan can include, for example, practice with conversation, reading and writing, oral exam preparation, interview practice, study of grammar and vocabulary.
